Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Roofing Hero website and the estimates, quotes, and scheduling tools offered through it. By using this site you agree to these terms. Any roofing work we perform for you is governed separately by the signed contract for that project.
1. Estimates and Instant Quotes
Prices shown on this site — including instant quote figures, per-square pricing, and shingle comparisons — are preliminary estimates generated from public property data and the options you select. They are not offers, bids, or binding contracts. A binding price is issued only after an on-site roof evaluation and appears in a written proposal signed by both parties.
Final pricing may change based on measured roof area and pitch, layers of existing roofing, decking condition, ventilation, flashing and chimney work, permit requirements, and material availability at time of order.
2. Scheduling a Home Visit
Requesting a home visit or roof evaluation authorizes us to contact you by phone, text, or email at the contact information you provide in order to confirm, reschedule, or follow up on that appointment. Appointment windows are estimates; weather and job-site conditions can require rescheduling.
3. Workmanship and Manufacturer Warranties
Workmanship warranty terms are stated in your signed project contract. Shingle and component warranties are issued by their manufacturers and are subject to those manufacturers' registration requirements, exclusions, and transfer rules. Nothing on this website extends, modifies, or replaces a warranty document.
4. Licensing and Insurance
We perform work as a registered specialty contractor and carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Current license and insurance documentation is available in the License/Insurance panel on this site and upon request.
5. Property Access and Homeowner Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the roof, driveway, and electrical outlets on work days.
- Move or protect vehicles, patio furniture, grills, and fragile landscaping before the crew arrives.
- Remove or secure wall-mounted items, attic contents, and anything hanging that vibration could dislodge.
- Disclose known leaks, prior repairs, solar equipment, satellite mounts, or structural concerns.
6. Payment and Insurance Claims
Payment schedules, deposits, financing terms, and any insurance-claim coordination are set out in your project contract. We do not adjust claims or act as your insurer's representative.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled evaluation at any time at no cost. Cancellation of signed work, including any restocking or special-order material charges, is handled under the terms of your contract and applicable state law.
8. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Site content, photography of completed installations, pricing tools, and comparison material are our property or used with permission, and may not be reproduced for commercial use without written consent. Installation photos represent past projects and are not a guarantee of identical materials or results.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for services requested through it. This section does not limit liability for the performance of contracted roofing work, which is governed by your contract.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time; changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current version.
